Sea Bass made it to the Semis at the 6 star in Brazil. All in all he walked away with 1,688 pts towards his WQS ranking and 5K cash. Generally, anything over 1,000 pts is a "keeper" score towards qualifying for the WCT. A few more solid results and Bass will be on his way to qualifying!

Britt Galland showed up and blowed up at the Surfing America Prime Series at Steamer Lane. His fourth place finish in solid Steamer Lane surf was a testament to his surfing ability and bright future. Here's a photo of him on a big open face cutback!

This is the second installment of the Board of the Month feature. Steve once again choose something a little funky. Do not let the picture fool you this board is no standard shortboard.
Currently nameless, this new model that Steve has been working on with Sea Bass and other team guys(unofficially) looks like a standard shortboard from afar but up close it is something else all together. Features a wide, full outline, single-to-deep double-to-flat concave, and a Semi-Boxy rail.
Bass normally rides a 6'1" x 18 1/4" x 2 3/16" SeaGull Model and he is riding this new model 5'9" x 19" x 2 3/16".
